Our consultants support the Climate Smart Jobs (CSJ) programme in Northern Uganda, a UK-funded initiative aimed at creating resilient on-farm and off-farm employment opportunities for smallholder farmers, women, and refugee communities. The programme sought to transform local market systems while contributing to sustainable, climate-resilient livelihoods.
DevLearn’s role focuses on strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems to improve the programme’s ability to track progress, report outcomes, and adapt effectively. Our support includes:
• Reviewing the monitoring and learning strategy and results framework to align with DCED and FCDO standards.
• Refining measurement approaches and methodologies for KPIs.
• Designing data collection tools and recommending appropriate platforms for data management.
• Providing technical assistance to enhance the quality, reliability, and usability of MEL systems.
• Supporting adaptive management through annual reviews and data-driven recommendations.
• Facilitating internal learning and capacity building for the programme team.
