DevLearn serves as the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) partner for BII’s ESG Technical Assistance Programme (TAP), which supports BII investees and the wider investment ecosystem to improve their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices through research, toolkits, training, and networks.
Our work includes:
• Conducting cohort interviews with training participants.
• Scanning for qualitative outcomes using Outcome Scanning.
• Evaluating completed projects and analysing behavioural change across BII’s portfolio.
Our consultants’ engagement began with an evaluation of BII’s market-shaping portfolio, aimed at catalysing investment in frontier markets. We lhave since provided broader MEL support across the ESG TAP, delivering insight through data analysis, research, outcome documentation, and reporting tailored to BII’s strategic learning needs.
