The ILO funded implementing and monitoring of the Nigerian Youth Employment Action Plan (NIYEAP).

As part of this framework, they commissioned DevLearn to provide online training for youth and youth employment stakeholders in the NIYEAP, introducing principles of good results measurement, and helping selected projects to implement them.

Working closely with the ILO and a local consultant, we designed and delivered online training in results measurement, lasting six weeks. We tailored our standard materials for the ILO, developed new materials to suit their requirements, and used a new learning management platform (Claned). We documented all materials, assignments, and group exercises in a facilitators package, allowing the ILO to implement similar training in the future.

As a follow-up, we worked with six of the course’s participants, selected because of their interest in results measurement, to help them implement an improved results measurement system. With a local consultant, we provided additional training and capacity building, developed tools and materials, and helped them to implement the new results measurement systems.
