Sheprospers: Elevating Women Entrepreneurs in Bangladesh

DevLearn supported the design and implementation of a targeted programme to strengthen women-owned SMEs by providing tailored skills training and market linkages based on each entrepreneur’s stage of business growth – startup, sustaining, or growth phase.

The intervention aimed to build business capacity and increase access to finance, resulting in:
• 30 growth-stage entrepreneurs securing bank loans for business expansion.
• 200 sustaining-phase entrepreneurs strengthening core skills, accessing new markets, and preparing to formalise their businesses to become loan-eligible.

The programme took a differentiated approach, aligning support with business maturity to maximise impact and sustainability.
