WHH Liberia Labor Market Assessment

DevLearn conducted a labour market assessment to support WHH’s efforts in addressing youth underemployment and food insecurity in Liberia. The study builds on prior food systems research and aimed to identify strategic opportunities for integrating unskilled and marginalized youth – especially young women, into inclusive, resilient food systems.

The assessment:
• Analysed labour market dynamics and constraints in key food systems.
• Identified high-potential sectors for sustainable youth employment.
• Proposed intervention models to catalyse systemic change and generate wage and self-employment opportunities in rural and peri-urban areas.
