DevLearn supported DCA in strengthening its organisational capacity by developing a tailored Market Systems Development (MSD) training program. This initiative formed part of DCA’s broader effort to embed MSD thinking across its climate resilience work in fragile contexts.
The training was designed in two formats:
• An in-person course delivered to a select group of MSD ‘champions’ in East Africa.
• A complementary online version co-developed with DCA’s Learning Lab for broader institutional uptake.
The programme aimed to equip DCA teams across country offices and headquarters with the skills and frameworks needed to apply MSD principles effectively across diverse programming environments.
